Attached is an informative perspective from Elizabeth Englander, Ph. D., Director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center regarding whether it is appropriate to mediate in a situation where bullying is involved. She writes, "[a]lthough many educators have long approached conflict in children through the use of mediation and negotiation, discipline through limit-setting may be the only effective means of encouraging children to cease bullying others."
