5 Questions

The Olive Branch BlogQuestions. The more I spend time in the field of conflict resolution, the more important they become to me.

That is why I attended a workshop entitled: Asking Questions that Matter – I’m always looking for another opportunity to share conflict resolutions techniques that are simple and don’t require a mediator.

The Conflict Pivot: Turning Conflict into Peace of Mind

Patricia M Porter If you’ve been told not to take conflict personally, you only have half the story. Before you can do that, you have to take conflict more personally. In this program, Tammy Lenski, author of The Conflict Pivot: Turning Conflict into Peace of Mind, will discuss three simple practices you can do on your own, anytime and anywhere, to avoid the most common conflict resolution mistakes, understand why certain conflicts get their hooks into you, and figure out how to liberate yourself.

Dr. Tammy Lenski helps people excel at conflict resolution by mastering their reaction, problem solving creatively, and forging lasting results. A mediator, coach, speaker, author, and conflict resolution teacher, she has helped thousands of organizations, individuals, and mediators worldwide resolve conflict masterfully. Tammy was a founding faculty member of the world’s first master’s degree in mediation and has been featured in Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Inc, and numerous other publications. A member of the Association for Conflict Resolution’s Academy of Advanced Practitioners, Tammy was recognized in 2012 with the Association’s Mary Parker Follett Award for innovative and pioneering work in the conflict resolution field.
