U.S. Magistrate Judge Morton Denlow (Ret.) Joins JAMS

Chicago – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. Morton Denlow (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Denlow will be based in the JAMS Chicago Resolution Center. He will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master in a variety of disputes including Antitrust, Banking, Business/Commercial, Civil Right, Class Action/Mass Torts, Employment, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Personal Injury/Torts, Professional Liability, Real Property and Securities. With Judge Denlow, there are now 40 federal judges on the panel. The JAMS Federal Panel possesses an invaluable body of legal knowledge, experience and skill with a variety of Federal law matters.

Judge Denlow joins JAMS after 16 years of distinguished service as a Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. During his time on the bench, he presided over a wide variety of civil and criminal matters in both the pretrial and trial stages, including more than 2,000 settlement conferences. Additionally, Judge Denlow was an instructor at the Federal Judicial Center where he trained hundreds of federal judges in mediation skills.

Prior to appointment, Judge Denlow was actively engaged for 24 years as a trial and appellate lawyer in complex commercial litigation. In addition, he was involved in the field of ADR as an arbitrator and mediator for more than 10 years.

Judge Denlow graduated with his A.B. cum laude from Washington University and earned his J.D. cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law, Order of the Coif.
