Since July, the following US entities have created Organizational Ombudsman programs to serve the alternative dispute resolution needs of their stakeholders:

• Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles
• University of North Dakota in Fargo
• Northwestern School of Medicine in Chicago
• Amtgard Medieval Combat & Role Play
• Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS
• University of South Alabama in Mobile
• Emory University in Atlanta
• California Association of Realtors
• Montgomery College in Washington, DC

These join hundreds of other organizations who have realized the cost of providing ADR services yields great benefits.  Although most common on university campuses, Organizational Ombuds have been appointed in many UN and UN-affiliated agencies and large corporations.
