JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, announced that it has launched a new blog to discuss trends, news and issues within Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Some of the topics that will be covered include discussions about legal processes affecting ADR, articles from specific practice areas, posts that highlight organizations supporting ADR in the United States and abroad and more.
“This is another example of JAMS being an innovator and leader within ADR,” said Chris Poole, JAMS president and CEO. “We’re very excited to join the ‘blogosphere’ and continue communicating with our clients, colleagues and those in ADR about new trends and discussions related to mediation and arbitration.”
The majority of the posts will be authored by Mr. Poole, along with submissions from JAMS panelists, senior management as well as guest authors.

What do you mean Tom?
I have invited Chris to participate in an upcoming podcast, do you have a question(s) that I should ask if we can get our schedules in order?
JAMS is an exemplary independent ADR provider, their neutrals are leading practitioners, and I will certainly follow their new blog. Nonetheless, to say that creating an ADR blog in 2011 is an example of innovation and leadership is hyperbole. There are already many ADR blogs and it is ironic that the quote appeared on ADRHub, which has been a leading ADR portal for nearly two years.
Perhaps I'm over-explaining a gentle tweak. No serious offense was intended.
