The Ombuds Committee of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association is now officially up and running again. One of its goals is to inform and educate lawyers and the public about Ombuds programs, functions and the benefits they provide to organizations and society.
The committee would like to open its membership to professionals within the Ombuds and legal communities. Anyone joining must be or become a member of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution. If interested in joining, please contact Chuck Howard or use the sign-up at the Committee's website.
Note: This is not the same as the ABA Business Law Section's new Subcommittee on Ombuds.
