What is your ADR experience? (trainings and education)
Currently working through the Northern Virginia Mediation Service to become a Certified Mediator. My specialty is as a Certified Real Estate Divorce Specialist, a Realtor who specializes in assisting divorcing couples sell their homes, with specialized legal and tax training.
What, if any, ADR organizations or groups do you belong to?
Currently--None.
What are you hoping to get from ADRhub.com
Expand my database of family law professionals to educate them of an opportunity to further reduce the drama normally attached to divorce.
What else do you want to tell the ADRhub.com community (what you are up to, what you would like to do in ADR, etc.)
My designation as a Certified Real Estate Divorce Specialist is extremely rare and not well known--yet. My goal, as the leading divorce specialist in Virginia, is to make this specialty known to more divorce professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The certification means that specific attention is paid to learn about tax venues available to divorcing couples; learning about legal terms (but careful not to give any impression that I am an attorney or any professional other than a realtor).
Finally, because I have personally been through the divorce process, I am understanding of what the people are going through and why they are having certain reactions.
Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for joining ADRhub. I hope you enjoy the site. I will be working with ADRhub over the summer as a practicum student, so if you have any questions or comments, let me know. -Nicole
