(trainings and education): 10 years directing a conflict resolution education NGO in Ecuador; mediator trained at Community Mediation Program in Baltimore, MD; advanced training in other aspects of conflict resolution from CMM, MACRO, USIP, IIMCR, etc.; Ph.D in international relations from Johns Hopkins University; designed numerous conflict resolution study abroad and educational programs at university level
