I have a quick story to tell you. I was inspired to reachout to a former boss who did me wrong 30 years ago. The inspiration came from the CU NDR program and you class and recent workshop on the power of forgiveness. I approached him via email to tell him that I forgave him for firing me so many years ago. He interpreted my overture as a request of forgiveness from him rather than the other way around. I was a stellar performer on his team. My downfall was that I failed to conform despite my successes. A friend of mine told me not to worry since in her opinion, my former boss still does not get it. I am glad that I contacted him to achieve my own peace of mind even though he remains a despicable character.
