BASESwiki (http://baseswiki.org) is an initiative of the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative on Business and Human Rights, undertaken in cooperation with the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School and with the support and collaboration of the International Bar Association and Compliance Advisor/Ombudsman of the World Bank Group.

Purpose: To improve access to, and the development of, effective, rights-compatible mechanisms for addressing grievances and disputes between companies and their external stakeholders.

Mission: To develop a self-sustaining online community where stakeholders can share information, analysis, and learning about business-to-society dispute resolution.

Platform: This project is built on wiki-style contributions from a virtual network of individuals, companies, organizations, and groups who share an interest in dispute resolution.
