Development Intern


The National School Climate Center (formerly the Center for Social and Emotional Education), a 501 c (3) nonprofit dedicated to creating safe and supportive learning environments in K-12 schools nationwide (www.schoolclimate.org) , seeks a volunteer to help with our Development initiatives.  This is a great opportunity to help with our newest initiative – BullyBust, a National bully prevention awareness campaign and to gain hands-on experience in fundraising.
 
Duties will include:
 
*           Researching and creating profiles for prospect asks
*           Researching and helping to execute grant proposals 
*           Other administrative duties as needed (including data entry into our fundraising database)
 
 
Required Background:
Applicants must have excellent written communication skills, be organized, professional, dependable and interested in learning about development and fundraising. Some Development experience preferred, but not required. Interest/knowledge in graphic design a plus.
