The GSU Office of the Ombudsperson is hiring a full-time Assistant Ombudsperson.  The primary responsibility of the postion is providing conflict management services for over 32,0000 students on four campuses.  In addition, the Assistant Ombuds will manage Graduate Research Assistants, student assistants, and interns; assists with tasks related to the Annual Conflict Resolution Symposium; and performs other administrative duties.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience (or combination of education and experience). Certification as mediator and a master's degree in conflict resolution or a social science are preferred.  The position pays $48,000 to $54,000. Applications are due by May 13, 2016. (GSU Careers.)
GSU has also reopened its search for an Associate Director for its Office of the Ombudsperson.  The position will collaborate with the DirectorCoordinator, and Campus Conflict Resolution Committee to provide conflict management services for GSU’s faculty, staff and students on four campuses -- a total population of about 50,000.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and four years of supervisory and leadership experience in a complex work environment, in conflict management, organizational change or a closely related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.  Certification as Mediator and/or Ombudsperson is required. The position pays $55,000 to $62,000. Applications are due by May 13, 2016. (GSU Careers.)
