Description

Under limited supervision, this position operates as the designated neutral or impartial dispute resolution practitioner whose major function is to provide confidential and informal assistance to constituents of the College community. In the performance of the duties, this position provides support, guidance and direction to identify and communicate opportunities for systemic improvements through operational, functional and quality assurance audits.

 

Requirements
Associate’s Degree with 3 years of combined work experience: At least 1 year of recent work experience in a campus department within the College or at a for-profit institution. Prior work experience can offset the degree requirement provided a detailed listing of prior experience is submitted to and approved by the corporate leader responsible for the area and the EVP of Human Resources.

• Knowledge of college process to solve problems and troubleshoot technical, operational, and people problems.
• Intermediate knowledge of DOE rules and regulations as it relates to college operations.
• Strong diplomatic, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to deal fairly, effectively and timely with all constituents to resolve issues.
• Ability to independently judge how to proceed with issues, and help the inquirer assess who should be involved and at what stage.
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepares reports.
• Ability to research, analyze and interpret problems/regulations/ policies.
• Works successfully with minimal supervision.
