In this hands-on, interactive training you will learn the skills and techniques necessary to facilitate large and small group discussions in a number of contexts. You will have a chance to practice and get feedback on the skills you have learned.

Registration:
Space in this training is limited to 20 participants. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a place in the training. Registration for this training is at the price of $300.
A deposit of $100 is required to hold your seat. Payment for the full tuition amount must be made before certification will be released. Payment plans available with no interest. Tuition cost include meals and materials.
Please arrange your outside obligations around the class schedule so you will be in attendance for the full 12 hours of training. Participants must attend all 12 hours to receive a certificate.

David Gafron Savage is an experienced facilitator with a background in cultural anthropology, who has organized and facilitated numerous dialogues across the Greater New Haven area. He has facilitated community conversations between the New Haven Police Department and community members, staff development workshops at the New Haven Health Department, and several planning & visioning dialogues different with non-profit and neighborhood organizations.
Alice Leibowitz has been teaching meeting facilitation for fifteen years. As Partner in Insight Unlimited, LLC since 2002, Alice facilitates planning meetings and dialogs for non-profits, grassroots organizations, and communities throughout Connecticut. Alice is trained in a wide variety of methods for getting people of different backgrounds and perspectives to hear each other, find agreement, and take joint action. Alice uses interactive, engaging presentation methods and keeps content relevant to people's work.
