Retired Maryland Circuit Court Judge Hon. William D. Missouri Joins JAMS

JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. William D. Missouri (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Missouri will be based in the JAMS Greenbelt Resolution Center. He will specialize as an arbitrator, mediator and special master for disputes in a variety of areas including Administrative Law, Business/Commercial, Class Action/Mass Tort, Construction, Construction Defect, Employment, Family Law, Government/Public Agency, Personal Injury/Torts, Professional Liability and Real Property.

 

Judge Missouri has presided over all manner of civil cases during his more than 25 years of distinguished judicial service on the Maryland Circuit and District Courts. Most recently he served as Chief and Administrative Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit. Prior to his appointment to the Circuit Court in 1987, Judge Missouri served as an Associate and Administrative Judge of the Fifth District Court for Prince George’s County.

Judge Missouri graduated with his B.S. cum laude from Bowie State University in Maryland and received his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is the recipient of numerous awards and citations, the result of his service on countless judiciary, professional and community committees and organizations.
