Responding to the Co-Occurrence of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence - Lincoln, NE

Greetings Fellow Mediators! 


 


Please see the attached brochure regarding a no fee training on “Responding to the Co-Occurrence of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence” and the Safe & Together Model from Connecticut. 
The event has multiple sponsors and is in Lincoln
on September 23,
2010 from 8:30 to 11 at the Lancaster County Court House. 


 


The training has been pre approved by the Office of Dispute Resolution for 2 hours of Continuing Mediator Education (CME) and counts as 2 hours of CME per ODR rules in regards to the; “Policy
for Approval of Parenting Act Mediators Nebraska Administrative Office of the
Courts:
Part III. Continuing
Mediator Education,  A.  Parenting Act Continuing Mediator Education
(CME)”
regarding Domestic Intimate Partner Abuse, Child Abuse, or
Unresolved Parental Conflict.

With the obvious reference to the bird in hand, The Mediation Center will have will also have a two hour training this winter (date and time will be announced on the Nebraska Mediator Association (NMA) web site later
this fall) www.nemediation.org and we
will apply for approval for the DIPA CMEs for those of you who can not make
this no fee Coalition training event.
