Associate Mediators
(PART-TIME Associate Mediators)
Definition of Work: AMP Global ADR Services, LLC seeks trained experienced mediators in New York Metropolitan area, New York and Tampa Bay, Florida. Desired areas of expertise are business, environmental, workplace conflict, commercial, contracts and international contracts.
Job Requirements:
Basic requirement:
· Advanced skills in MS Word and Internet.
· Ability to analyze and document complex function requirement.
· Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
· Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.
· Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
· Excellent interview/facilitation skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have at least 40 hours of mediation training (plus certification for the Florida mediators); considerable experience mediating disputes; substantive knowledge of the subject matter in the area in which they will be mediating; and familiarity with court procedures in their area of expertise. 4 year college degree minimum.
Desired Qualifications: Preference will be given to individuals with 3 or more years experience; are familiar with the court; are qualified to mediate in more than one subject matter.
Notice: The position is on a part time basis at a rate commensurable with experience. This is not an independent contractor position. Mediators are not guaranteed hours.
Compensation: based on qualifications.
