The regional development bank headquartered in Manila is recruiting an Ombudsperson. The position reports to the ADB President and functions is an informal grievance resource for staff members with work place concerns. The position was established in early 2012 and follows IOA standards.

Applicants must have an advanced degree, preferably in social sciences, law or related fields, or the equivalent, and at least 15 years experience in multicultural and international work environment – including a minimum of five years in workplace conflict resolution in related  organizations, preferably as an Ombuds. This is an internationally-recruited, three-year fixed-term appointment, which may be renewed once. Applications are due by May 27, 2013. No salary indicated. (ADB Careers.)
