Ombudsman for European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

The international financial institution that supports privatization efforts in 29 countries is hiring its first Ombudsperson. The contract position will act as an impartial and independent intermediary between a staff member and the Bank to attempt to resolve employment-related problems of staff members. Services will be provided on four working days a month at the Bank's headquarters in London.

Applicants must have extensive (preferably 10+ years) experience in the resolution of employment relations within the international organizations, and excellent presentation and written communications skills in English. The assignment is expected to start in January 2012 and is for three years, with a possibility of extending by two years. Applications are due August 1, 2011. (ERBD Procurement.)
