The Texas state agency responsible for law enforcement and vehicle regulation has opened another search for a Deputy Ombudsman.  Based in Austin, the supervisory position performs advanced mediation work for the Office of the Ombudsman, working with individuals and groups in the agency to explore and assist in determining options to help resolved conflicts and bringing systemic concerns to the attention of executive management. 

Applicants should have at least an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, two years of professional experience; mediation certification; and some regulatory and conflict resolution knowledge. Some travel is required.  The position pays $3,894-5,833 per month and the position will remain open until filled.  (Texas DPS Jobs, Job ID: 681590.)
