The Office of the UN Ombudsman and Mediation Services in New York is hiring a Director of Mediation. The position has responsibility for the mediation activities under the overall direction of the UN Ombudsman and shall consult with the Ombudsmen of the Funds and Programmes and of UNHCR on matters relating to these agencies. 

Applicants must have an advanced university degree in in alternative dispute resolution or related area; 15 years of relevant work experience; fluency in English; and a demonstrated knowledge of alternative dispute resolution approaches, especially mediation.
