FULL-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
IMMEDIATE POSTING! This position, located in Midtown New York City, will provide a broad range of administrative functions and support a small (15 person) non-profit alternative dispute resolution organization.  This is a great growth opportunity for someone who is smart, well-organized and thrives in results based environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will perform diverse administrative support activities and be able to follow-through to ensure that appropriate and timely actions are taken.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

   * General administrative duties such as drafting correspondence, handling phone inquiries, filing, etc.
   * Maintaining file systems and management/updating of internal contact databases
   * Handling deliveries; preparing and tracking mailings; posting mail
   * Conducting on-line research and extrapolating information/findings
   * Managing calendar and scheduling internal/external meetings
   * Processing expenses/expense reports; light financial record-keeping
   * Coordinating travel itineraries and related logistics
   * Assisting with the execution of internal meetings/trainings/seminars


REQUIREMENTS:

   * Ability to work well independently or as a member of a team in a collaborative small office environment
   * Ability to multi-task and prioritize, with good judgment and decision-making skills
   * Strong computer skills - Candidate must be fluent in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
   * Internet savvy with an ability to use the Web as a research tool.  Knowledge of legal research tools or websites…a plus
   * Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workload
   * Must be detail-oriented, proactive and resourceful
   * Prior administrative experience in a corporate or legal environment a plus
