Thanks to 3 ADR/ODR students, today we ran in our Virtual Mediation Lab the simulation of a mobile mediation of a typical roommate dispute. The online mediator was connected with a Mac (from a coffee shop), and the two roommates with an Ipad and Iphone.

During our simulation:

>> One roommate used his Ipad to actually “show” to the other roommate and the mediator what he was complaining about
>> The other roommate shared her own pictures, taken to prove that their common space wasn’t as messy as claimed by her roommate
>> The online mediator used also an online whiteboard (a wp document) to list both roommates’ concerns and write down their mediated agreement
