If you are planning to attend the upcoming ACR Annual Conference from October 8-11, 2014, the Environment and Public Policy (EPP) Section would love to see you at our opening session on October 8 and other sessions on October 9 and 10. Join us to attend our sessions, meet EPP members and get to know an exciting section of ACR.
 
Our EPP conference committee has put together a great program, which we have attached for your perusal. In putting together the program, we created a great balance of sessions that focus on the art of our practice, the substance of environmental and public policy work and also marketing in our field. We have several engaging plenary sessions planned – including an opportunity to hear from the new director of the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution, Peter Williams.  A diverse collection of other sessions – concurrent and plenary – will explore our two themes:

• Expanding our Impact: Diversity of Practice and Practitioners, and
• Standing Up for Good Practice: Navigating Coercive Clients and Intimidating Parties

 
We continue the program with several more sessions on Thursday and Friday including a section luncheon focusing on the work of the EPP New Directions Committee.  In this crucially important session, we will be exploring and engaging in significant discussion about the future of our field of practice and our professional association.
 
The EPP Section is excited about this opportunity to share ideas, opportunities and challenges with the broader ACR membership.  The following is the conference information to register for both the EPP and ACR conference in October.
