Conflict management ‘essential’ to run culturally diverse teams
Conflict management skills are in high demand among recruiters in heavy industries “to ensure a mixed labour force runs harmoniously,” a global study has revealed.
The international survey of 1,589 HR professionals, by talent specialists Futurestep, found that more than a fifth of organisations said conflict resolution skills were “in short supply”.
...Almost a fifth of respondents (19 per cent) also said competencies in conflict management are the most difficult skill to develop in new recruits.
