The Global Coalition for Efficient Logistics (GCEL) is a global public-private partnership that brings together leading firms,
governments, and non-profit organizations to lower the cost of trade and
trigger economic development around the world. It is non-profit and based in
Geneva, Switzerland. GCEL's members include more than 30 governments, 13 NGOs,
and many world-class private firms that collectively represent 2.7 million
workers servicing 60% of the world's GDP. GCEL is implementing a global
initiative, the Humawealth Program, with three powerful, innovative elements.
The first is a Global Logistics System, an open platform technology that
delivers significant new efficiencies to the industries associated with trade,
operations, logistics, finance, insuranceï all at no cost to end users. The
second is a trusted network of 28 leading firms around the world, all working
together in a monitored environment to implement the system. The third is rapid
deployment of the system in a way that removes monopolistic and geo-political
concerns. In all, GCEL is ushering in the biggest innovation to the global
trade system since the advent of containerization more than a half century ago.
To support this ambitious vision and agenda, GCEL seeks world-class candidates
for four key positions. The positions are all based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Please respond with a vita and letter of interest to: v.menon@gcel.net. Review
of candidates will begin on July 30, and applications will be considered until
the positions are filled.
