The International Co-operative Alliance (ICA)

The International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) is seeking a Director of Policy to advance its mission with intergovernmental organizations and development agencies. The Director of Policy will represent ICA with the United Nations and its specialized agencies and will build strategic relationships with select intergovernmental organizations. The Director will also facilitate the creation and implementation of a global co-operative development agenda with the co-operative development community.

Experience with co-operative enterprises is essential. Five years experience with intergovernmental organizations is required. An advanced degree in International Relations, Law, or a related field is desired. Proficiency in another language in addition to English is highly desired. Some international travel is required. The position will be based in New York or Washington, D.C. and will report to the Director-General in Geneva, Switzerland.
