Cyber liability is a growing concern for consumers and organizations involved in online transactions.  This includes just about all of us.  It is important for all of us to be aware of the risk and take the necessary steps to mitigate the risk as much as possible.  My presentation will address organizational risk concerns and management practices, however much of the information presented can be useful for the consumer as well.  My goal is that you will walk away from this presentation with information that will raise your awareness of the risk within your own organization and that will help you develop proactive steps toward managing the risk.

Presenter Bio:

Dale Sharpe Jenkins is a Certified Insurance Counselor and Risk Management Specialist.  She is the founder and owner of The Jenkins Agency, Inc. an independent insurance agency and risk management consulting firm established in 1998 and located in Arlington, TX.  She has been assisting organizations with risk management and risk transfer strategies for over 25 years.  Her clients include municipalities, airports, non-profit and private sector businesses.

Ms. Sharpe Jenkins has been on faculty at Tarrant County Community College since 2008, where she teaches Principals of Insurance. 

She is scheduled to graduate from the Werner Institute’s NDR Master of Science Program at Creighton University December 2014.
