Coaching Leaders Through Conflict

Conflict management coaching is a specialized type of executive coaching and leaders seek out this process to strengthen their conflict intelligence. This includes optimizing their competence in areas such as effectively managing their own interpersonal disputes, delivering and responding to difficult messages, responsively addressing differences of opinions, motivating conflict engagement, and demonstrating resilience after challenging communications on problematic issues.

Learning Outcomes

In this 8 week online program on Conflict Management Coaching, certified coaches will:

learn the 7-stage CINERGY® model for coaching leaders through conflict;
learn the principles specific to providing conflict management coaching for leaders;
gain increased insight into your own conflict management skills;
learn what distinguishes conflict management coaching for leaders from other types of coaching;
experience this type of coaching as a coach and as a client; and
gain new tools specific to conflict management coaching.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for this workshop are that participants are certified coaches and have read at least chapters 2 and 4 of Conflict Management Coaching: The CINERGY™ Model, available at: http://www.cinergycoaching.com/conflict-management-coaching-book/.

CINERGY® Conflict Management Coach Assessment

Workshop participants have the option of being assessed to become a CINERGY® Certified Conflict Management Coach after completing the training and practicing the model. The assessment takes the form of a two hour evaluation in which the participant coaches one of CINERGY’s® Competency Assessors through the model. Participants are assessed according to core competencies provided at the training. The cost at this time is $300.00 CDN (plus HST if applicable).

Cinnie Noble is a pioneer in the field of conflict management coaching and the founder of the CINERGY® model, which is taught worldwide. She is author of Conflict Management Coaching: The CINERGY™ Model. Cinnie is trained as a mediator and is a certified coach (PCC). Janie Neff is certified by the International Coach Federation as a professional certified coach and by the Coaches Training Institute as a certified professional co-active coach. She has advanced training as an organization and relationship systems coach and is a transformative mediator. Janie is a graduate of the CINERGY®’s introductory and advanced conflict management coaching workshops. She is an Accredited CINERGY® Trainer.

This workshop has been approved for 19 hours of Continuing Coaching Education Units (16 hours Core Competencies and 3 hours Resource Development) from the International Coach Federation.

Dates: Tuesdays from September 5 to October 24, 2017 (no class the week of September 26 – this week will be used for skills practices)
