The *Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution* *Department* at Salisbury
University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in
Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution beginning fall 2011.

*Primary Job Duties: *Include teaching core undergraduate and graduate
courses in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution. Additional duties
include academic advising, research, scholarly activity, and community
service. **

*Minimum Qualifications: *Ph.D. or ABD in Conflict Analysis and Dispute
Resolution or related fields (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology, Political
Science). If ABD, doctoral degree must be completed before date of hire.

*Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *The ideal candidate will have a strong
academic background in conflict analysis and dispute resolution as well as
practical conflict intervention experience. Since the department directs a
two year Master’s degree program as well as a strong undergraduate major,
the ideal candidate will have experience in teaching undergraduate and
graduate classes. Candidates must demonstrate effective teaching strategies
that support a diverse student body.**
